With the interest of AC Milan in Zlatan, the last bid for Cesc will take place this weekend. However if Arsenal turns down the offer again, Barcelona will turn to Liverpool mid-fielder Mascherano.

Zlatan’s agent however keeps insisting that he will stay with Barcelona, but Villa’s arrival at Camp Nou has only fueled the transfer rumors. Zlatan scored as Barca crashed to 3-1 defeat in Sevilla a week ago, but was still substituted after 53 minutes. And in the second leg 4-0 turnaround at the Camp Nou, he watched the whole game from the bench.

AC Milan would prefer a loan rather than permanent move for Zlatan who cost Barca £45m last summer. Both Manchester City and Chelsea have been linked with him this summer as well. However to this Zlatan’s agent has confirmed that Zlatan isn’t the kind of player who will be on loan. (damn right)

Obviously Barca will one day sign Cesc, but right now Barca needs a player who can compete with Sergio Busquets in the holding midfield role. If AC Milan makes a bid for Zlatan it means Barcelona has enough funds to make a final bid for Cesc.
